Truss Roof
A truss roof is the component used in the actual framing of a roof. Wooden
components are typically used in the construction of a truss. Roof systems,
however, can be created from aluminum more cost-effectively and uniquely. At
CONSERVATEK,
the internationally known leader in roofing and coverage systems, we use
pre-fabricated, triangulated aluminum structures to create our truss roof
solutions.
We offer five proprietary systems that act as a truss roof:
AlumadomeTM
This single layer aluminum system is offered as either an integral structural
glazing system or support framing for a roof and insulation system. Because they
are capable of spanning more than 500 feet, AlumadomeTM systems are
used for double curvature overhead applications. A unique feature is that this
system may be custom designed to develop a broad range of shapes. Typical
building footprint applications include ellipsoidal, oval, rectangular and
circular.
OmnihubTM
This lightweight, all-aluminum structural system offers unlimited design
flexibility and strength. The geometric forms, structural footprint and
structure profile are literally unlimited. With its concealed fastening system,
tapered end connectors, round members and solid aluminum hubs, the system offers
an unrivaled appearance, smooth lines and boundless finishing possibilities.
StadiaformTM
Our patent pending StadiaformTM double layer space frame system
offers architects and designers unparalleled design strength and a broad
selection of low profile building envelopes. Combining the design benefits of
aluminum with the strength of double layer configurations, StadiaformTM spans more
than 600 feet and conforms to any building footprint.
GeohubTM
This fully integrated aluminum structural system allows direct attachment of any
independent glazing system directly to the top of the space frame struts. It is
a modular system that is ideally suited for monosloped glazing applications.
Because it is flexible in module size, shape and depth, the GeohubTM
allows the creation of networks with unlimited footprints while accommodating
diverse designs.
SpectraformTM
As a defining element of a building envelope, our SpectraformTM
glazing systems offer a degree of versatility rarely found in the architectural
field. Capable of spans up to 300 feet, the product’s low density grid structure
allows an abundance of natural light to permeate the architectural space while
the grid and glass add an unmistakable design signature. Design flexibility is
among the SpectraformTM system’s most compelling advantages. Indeed,
each configuration creates its own uniquely elegant statement.
A truss roof is so much more than the name implies.
