ALUMA*DOME SYSTEM

The Aluma*Dome System is a double layer gusset hub product allowing for a wide range selectivity in size, diameter and thickness of the hub components.

The double layer hubs are first fabricated as flat circular plates with holes punched for the "clamping" of the struts. The flat hubs are then formed in large hydraulic presses with a proprietary Conservatek forming system.

The struts joined together with the Aluma*Dome System may be:

Rectangular tubes
Round tubes
I-Beams

The size and shape of the struts are based upon the use of the dome, the span and height of the dome, and the cladding method employed.

The size of the dome is virtually unlimited with the Aluma*Dome System. The anchor system is designed for radial expansion on slide-bearing mounts or hinged supports, depending upon the foundation.

The Aluma*Dome System can be combined with the Omni*Hub System to add round, tubular truss-work to a dome structure.
